teen bedroom decoration... feedback or tips? I'm redoing my teens girl's bedroom and I'm trying to make it a special and unique place for her so I've come up with some unique additions. One of the main reasons that she was so disorganized with her clothes was because that in the morning she would try on several outfits before finally deciding what to wear but she didn't take the time to hang her clothes up again, so i've decided to put up a row of hooks for her to hang her hoodies etc. I've also decided to put her dressor in the centre of her clostet and put a pegboard above it for all her sports equipment like helmets and that sorts of thing, in addition to this, I've giving her a small area with a rod for what she cant hang on the hooks. Another thing that I've decided to do for her room was paint the top half of the room above the chairboard in chalkboard paint, having the bottom half in a light sky blue to brighten it all up a bit, with the chairboard being white. She is really artistic so I think she'll like it. continued. In addition to that, I'm giving her a nice big desk for all her projects and homework since she likes to spread everything out a lot, on the end that's not against the wall I'm deciding between more hooks or a paper organization system of some sort, furthermore, I'm giving her a corkboard on her door so she can put reminders etc up for herself, beside that I'll put a whiteboard for little messages, and bellow that'll be a wall mounted mail pouch. On one wall I'll also be putting up some wall mounted shelves in a bright orange with some white accesories and storage boxes. I'm thinking about giving her a bench for her desk instead of a chair so she can have storage inside. Her bed will be raised above the ground with no boxspring so that she can easily fit storage boxes underneath. I'm also adding a nice neutral colored area rug on the laminate flooring (light colored wood) for the lighting I'm thinking a spotlight fixture and a few lamps, what do you think.. any changes? do u like it?? http://images.meredith.com/bhg/images/2006/12/p_100170173.jpg this is my inspiration.... Any ideas for a completely new, 13 year-old girl's bedroom? Points? I am 12 years old, obviously a girl, and I am turning 13 in July. For my birthday, I get to redo my whole room by re-painting my walls, getting all new furniture, and of course, accessories! Yeah, it sounds crazy to be asking for ideas now, but I need to know in advance so I can start planning and look for furniture, bedspreads, and colors whenever I go out. Plus, we usually do it in early spring, so I definitely need to think about this. Anyway, right now my room is all pastels. I have light purple and light green on my walls, with very pastelly, colorful things all around my room. I really don't want anything pastel-colored left when I redo my room, so I can't use anything I have now in my future room except for my white picture frames and shelves. (I can paint those!) So, for my new room, I want something totally different from pastels, whether it be darker, brighter, whatever. I am not a girly girl, or too much of a tomboy- I am in the middle. I am not a big fan of pink (it's OK) but I love all other colors. I definitely want something more mature, because right now, I have a really young room. I will have this until I move out, most likely, so please keep that in mind. Ummm, I was actually hoping to have a color on the walls, then paint my shelves and pictures frames an accent color. I would have a plain bedspread with pillows in the accent color I painted the frames and shelves. Band Themed Bedroom? I need a name for my Etsy shop I am opening up a new shop here Etsy and I am going to sell painted picture frames and other wooden items. The items are going to be child themed so I want a name that is "cutesy" I plan on opening it sometime this week, however I dont have a name yet =( And I was hoping that someone can help me out! I am not creative when it comes to thinking of names, so I am completely lost. Heres some general info that may help out--> My items are kind of going to be aimed specifically for children. For example, nursery decor, boy/girl bedroom decor. The items are going to be hand painted with embellishments added to them for decoration. As for my style, I like pastel colors, polka dots hearts. However that wont be the style of all of my designs. My favorite colors are baby colors. Baby pink, baby blue, baby green, etc. But pink is mainly my favorite color. What do you think of My Dramatic Monologue Story for GCSE Coursework English? Parts in Brackets () are Stage Directions and the first and last paragraphs are also stage directions. (Someone is talking casually on a radio broadcast called “Inside Out.” This person is sitting in his bedroom. The room is smothered with “Doctor Who” Posters and astronomy memorabilia. This “someone” seems to be a teenager. He tends to stay on the bed which is right next to the window, so he can look out of it when he’s bored. The sound will also amplify (get louder) at certain moments). Doctor Who was on the TV today. I’ve liked the program ever since Jake introduced it to me. I like to think as Jake as my Brother, as we share a room together. Jake and Mum have just popped out to the shop to go and get some food for tonight. (Sound amplifies) I hope they get back soon. Fade It’s getting near to Christmas, so Jake and Mum started putting up some Christmas Decorations in Jake’s Bedroom. I didn’t want to get involved so I watched from the bed. To be honest I felt really tired from not getting much sleep the night before. Jake kept me up all night with his continuous snoring. I wish I’d helped to put up the decorations because it was really boring watching Mum and Jake do everything. They came up to the room and started playing board games and having numerous goes on the X-BOX. I wanted to have a go but Jake never offered and his friends didn’t even greet me! I think Jake found me a bit embarrassing to be honest…maybe I just didn’t fit in. Fade I swear Jake is the least observant person I know. He came into the bedroom yesterday afternoon whilst I was having a little nap and he threw himself up into the air and landed on the double bed with a thump and I being so small went flying off the bed and onto the ground and because the TV was on so loud he hadn’t even noticed. What does my dream mean? I'm in my bedroom...it's night time, so it's very dark. I live in a tall building, I am sure, because I can see others' windows across from mine like towers or high rise apartment buildings. I need some decorating tips for a kids bedroom.? We are moving into an apartment and my kids will be sharing a room. They are a four year old boy and a two year old girl. I need some decoration ideas for their bedroom that I can do in an apartment. I know I can't paint or nail too much stuff to the walls. Their bedroom is layed out like this; It's a 11'9" by 10'7" square. You walk into the room on the far right corner of the room. The closet is about one or two feet from the door and has the two doors that open with the knobs on them. I can't think of what they are called right now. The window is on the far wall opposite the door. The window is in the middle of the room. All I know right now is that they will have two twin beds, one of each side of the window. Other than that, I have no idea what to do in there. Please help me! Sorry for the length of this. We can't afford to pay a whole bunch for stuff either.

[non] Perfectionist Some people – in fact, most people – would say that Phoebe’s wedding was the most successful and beautiful one ever to be beheld. The flower girls were sweet and flowery – everything a flower girl should be. The groom was handsome, the bride gorgeous. The decorations lacked nothing but weren’t over the top. To put it simply, it was a dream wedding – for almost all of us. From the time the bride was escorted down the aisle to the priest’s “You may now kiss the bride”, the chapel was alight with smiles and there was even just the perfect amount of joyful tears falling softly from the female guests’ perfectly powdered cheeks. I was close to tears myself, but for a completely different reason. I was a die-hard non-perfectionist, intent on avoiding as much perfect primness as possible. My slacking ways worked out fine for me until my sister invited me to her wedding. My sister and I have always been complete and total opposites. She hates anything that is not completely in order. I hate anything that is not completely out of order. We were always good friends, even though we argued constantly. We shared a bedroom as children, and many a house guest would have a good laugh at the strange sight. My side of the room was perfect, in my way, of course. My bed was never made, my shelves were never dusted, and you could never, ever see the floor. I slept in an uncharted land of mountains of clothing and towers of well-worn novels. Note books full of unfinished stories were strewn across the floor, and, to my sister’s great disgust, used tissues and giant dust bunnies lurked under the bed. But once one crossed the invisible border that separated my land from hers, the scenery couldn’t be more different. The bed, of course, was perfectly made, and not a wrinkled deformed the bedspread. The pillows were placed just so, and every spotless stuffed animal had his or her special place. Her side of the floor was always vacuumed and not one article of clothing was ever unfolded, much less left out of the drawer. So when she invited me to her wedding, where if course nothing would go wrong in her point of view, I couldn’t have disagreed more strongly.

My house is destroyed! OMFG! What should I do? So my parents are on business, I phoned them and asked if I could throw this girl a going away party. They said alright, so i did the party. Bought tons of food, decorations, music. We even chipped in 10$ each and bought her a Wii! She was so happy =D But, this girl I hate came in. She really hates me, I am dating her ex, she got suspended because she attacked me. She came in and just sat down. I told her to get out, she wouldn't listen, so I just ignored her. There is this big pine tree infront of my house that I used to play in when I was a girl, it leads to the roof and my window. I went outside, and I saw the girl throwing my clothes out the window! They kept asking me questions so I gave the phone to my boyfriend and I started to climb the tree. There were books ripped, magazines, clothes everywhere, my bookcase was tipped, the drawers were everywhere and broken, and the big mirror I have fell and shattered into a million pieces. The girl sort of panicked when she saw me, but she didn't stop. She found my makeup drawer and took like 4 bottles of perfume and whipped them at me! I ducked and hid, I was so scared! They all hit the wall and shattered, and my room smelt terrible and so strong. When I was ducking, she kicked me and I fell into the shattered glass and my arm started to bleed. I don't remember what happened after this, I was in shock, I couldn't move. Then, she opened my filing cabinet, and I saw her grabbing my science project. It was due the next day, and if I didn't submit it I would fail the class. I ran to her and I pushed her and locked the cabinet. I opened up the door and started to scream and my friends came in. There was this picture of me and my boyfriend above my bed, the girl picked it up and threw it down the stairs. Me and my boyfriend saw, and I lost it. Everyone gathered around me, and I screamed at this girl so freaking much, it was unbelievable. I swore, I hit her a few times, and I insulted her family and her a lot. I'm normally really nice, but I lost it. Then, I looked at her and she just laughed and shes like "moodswings much, bitch?" Then we heard the sirens and shes like "you called the cops? SNITCH" and she went up to the Christmas tree and she's like "nice tree". Everyone knew what she was gonna do, so we ran at her. She pushed the tree and it fell over. I got so mad, I picked OMG! I totally forgot to mention that we had a lasagna covered with foil and she burned it using a lighter.

i live in a 3 bedroom trailer and need to make more room for a new baby? my husband and me, of course have the master bedroom, and my two boys each have their own room. whats the best way to make more room for our new little girl about to arrive in a month? im thinking about having a yard sale to get some money for nursery decorations. you think it would be good to put both my boys in a room to share?

Bedroom decoration ideas? Okay, I am 14 and a girl.. My mom says I can redo my room.. she will pay for the paint.. and I have to pay for everything else. So cheap things would be great! :) But.. my carpet is a lightish blue so it kinda has to go with blue.. I have 2 windows.. and I don't want the paint work to be to complicated but I would like cool poster ideas... I am fine with buying posters and pictures and stuff like that.. oh, and I also want it to have a calm mood to it yet be fashionable.. I am really into music and movies if that helps any! Oh, and I want like the whole thing.. meaning.. the paint.. the bed sheets.. curtains... you know.. the works! Links would be greatly appreciated!!

Love is kind & patient. In most cases it should be. This is a love story about a young boy & girl who are in love, and often fail to realize that they’re soul mates. This story is about miscommunication, pride & heartache. Two people who deserve each other but are too stubborn to try. “I don’t know…he’s just really cool I guess. And I like him! Is that so wrong?” Kacy smiled to herself knowing that was a total understatement. Her feelings for Toren were deeper than just liking him. And she knew that the feelings were mutual. “Well then…I guess he’s alright but he just ain’t that cute.” Kacy’s friend Jaycee confessed. “You know what? It’s not always about looks! The inside is just as important. Even more if you ask me.” Kacy knew Toren wasn’t the best looking but it didn’t matter. He was special & she planned to never let him go. “What do you see in him anyway?” Jaycee said “He is smart & talented & fun & silly &…” “I don’t think silly is the word girl” “Ok well he’s goofy but…it’s a mature kind of goofy” Jaycee began to crack up laughing “MATURE? What have you been smokin? And what ever it is can’t you share? Toren is anything but mature. At about 7:30 the guest began to arrive. The music began to play & the crowd began to grow. Once everything seemed pretty steady, Jaycee came to get Kacy from the kitchen. “Kacy! We need you in the living room” Kacy put down the glass of water she was sipping & followed Jaycee through a crowd of people into the living. She immediately noticed her family all sitting in a circle, including Toren. He stood & then spoke. “Kase, we have been in love for about six years now. And at this point I can’t imagine myself loving anyone else but you. You’re beautiful inside & out. You have a glow that makes who ever you’re around brighten. I have known you ever since you were born & you have been a great impact on my life. You have allowed me to know God & myself in a whole new way. So your mother mentioned paying for the entire wedding. So I thought that was a good idea but it wasn’t quite enough…” “So, Dad what is it?” Kacy asked with excitement. “We decided that we would pay for the biggest wedding you could dream of &…A honeymoon to The Bahamas, For a week! We already have taken care of the details of the hotel & all. The date is just needed!” Kacy through her arms around both her parents. “Gosh, I wasn’t expecting that daddy! I can’t believe I’m getting married! Then going to the Bahamas!” Then Kacy turned to Toren. “Baby can you believe it!” “No, I can’t believe I’m marring an angel” Toren & Kacy went back to Atlanta after telling Toren’s parents. After a few days Toren invited Kacy to his apartment to watch a movie. Kacy didn’t really think anything of it because he did this at least once a week. So she figured it was pretty normal. When she got there, he opened the door and she saw that the lights were out, and candles were lit. “Hey babe, how are you doin today” Toren asked “Um… I’m ok. Kacy said as Toren pulled her closer to him. He had begun to kiss her on the neck & lips. Kacy decided not to fight it, she wanted just as bad as he did. She just hoped it was worth the wait. Toren Began to lead Kacy toward his bed, & remove her clothing. Kacy waited timidly as Toren explored her body with his hands. Kacy tried to relax as Toren entered her. He was gentle but the pain was visible in her face, Tears began to fill Kacy’s eyes. Once Toren was done, Kacy relaxed in his arms. She could have laid there forever. After months of planning, the wedding turned out beautifully. Kacy & Toren Mitchell, Kacy thought it just rolled off the tongue. The Bahamas were gorgeous. They had the time of their lives. Once they got home Kacy moved her things out of her dorm room, & Toren moved his things out of his apartment. They moved in to a beautiful three-bedroom apartment. Kacy was happy, but didn’t know if she could say the same about her husband. Once Kacy started student teaching, she realized Toren was very distant. He never really liked to hold conversations for more than a few minutes. He was either studying, sleeping or into the television. Kacy knew he was tired from medical school but he never wanted to spend time with her any more. Kacy missed the days when they would just spend the day in bed together. It seems like a year after they got married, his personality changed for the worse. Kacy tried everything she could think of to get him back to his old self.

Ideas for decorating a room that I share with a younger sibling?? I am a teenager sharing a bedroom with a younger female sibling. My sister and I are the type that cannot agree much of the time so we both deal with having one side of the room for my sister's wall/bed decorations and one for mine. My sister has posters of Shrek and Hannah Montana on her wall with small mini posters from an American Girl magazine. On my wall, above my bed I have a largish collage of a lot of my own personal pictures, but the wall to the side of my bed is empty. I want to fill it up so I can enjoy my room more since Hannah Montana isn't necassarily one of my larger interests. I'm wondering what unordinary but creative ideas people have for me to put on my wall (eg: magazine covers, old paperback book covers, ect.) Any ideas are appreciated and thanks!!!

Apart from the obvious, where can I get nursery stuff? I'm redecorating my son's bedroom (he's 9 months old) because we're moving and I really want something neutral as I'm expecting again and we suspect a girl! I know we can do mothercare, babies r us etc, but does anyone know of any other reasonably priced places either online or in store where I can get some nice nursery stuff - Bedding, decoration etc? Thanks! I do ebay a lot - in fact I'm selling the current nursery stuff on there now! I just want to buy it all matching all at once, and quite often the stuff on there is discontinued! (Like the stuff we have now)
