Help with bedroom decorating ideas for a teen? I have a very cutesy, girl-y bedroom, and I need something different. But my furniture was very expensive and I can't get rid of it. The furniture is a tan color and it has some flowers around the handles of the drawers. There is a big dresser, a chifferobe (just 3 drawers and 3 shelves) a nightstand, and a daybed. I always wanted a gothic style room, but I know that can get expensive and has to be decorated perfectly for it to look right. I also like a room that has a lot of junk, but is organized [does that make sense?] - like lots of cork boards and crates with things inside of them . I like deep colors (like deep purple). Some people have said that a Victorian style would look good - but again it gets expensive and doesn't look right if it's not done perfectly. I don't know how I'm supposed to decorate my room to fit my style and still make it look appropriate with my furniture. Does anyone have ideas? Bedroom Decorating Ideas + Convincing? So I know I have asked this question before but I am asking again so please help me! So I moved into the house i live in now when I was two years old. I still have the same bedroom which is about the size of a dorm room maybe a bit smaller. Now I will tell you flat out that my parents can be are cheap on a lot of things. Six years ago my brother was born and got the guest room which is bigger and more spacious than mine. Note until I was nine I was an only child. Now i am almost 15 and I kind of want a bigger room and a room that refelects me who I am. I honestly do not see any reason a six year old little boy needs a bigger room than an 15 year old teenage girl. After the film Marie Antoinette directed by Sofia Copolla, it became one of my favorite films. I know it's not exactly historically accurate, but the movie is just visually stunning- from the costumes, to the interiors of Versailles, everything was like candy for the eyes. Especially the floral prints, flowers, ribbons, jewels, and pastries. After seeing this ad for the perfume Miss Dior Cherie, I knew it looked familiar, and I also knew that I really liked the style of it. Decorating Teen Girls Bedroom? Hey I'm 14 and I'm moving into a new house at the begining of the Summer. I am getting a room that is in the verry bottom of the house and fairly large is you go downstairs there is a large laundry room to the right and then a closet in the middle and a door that goes to my bedroom to the left. also there is a random nothing room behind the laundry room. Its kinda like a mini mini apartment. But anyway I wanna know how I can decorate my room. I want things to be organised. And I want them to be funky and unique. Something that no one else has. bedroom decorating ideas [teen]? My dad just moved into an apartment and I have my own bedroom at his house. I'm into punk hardcore, grunge, and post hardcore music. I want my room to reflect that. I can't paint. I'm getting black, triangular curtains [see the room from Metro Station--Control], and a plaid comforter. I need some ideas as to how to make the room look less plain without filling it with posters. I'd like a bean bag chair in the room. For storage it would be a good idea to use fruit crates to hold books, magazines, newspaper articles, etc, a barrel or full size crate to use as a clothes hamper, and wire hangers for clothes. Another idea I had was to use a small, wooden ladder to hold shoes and handbags, since, you know, I'm a girl. A vanity mirror, too, would be nice to have. I just need some more ideas.

Teen Girl Bedroom Decorating Help!!! ? My bedroom is not too large but it's not that small either. It's medium sized. I have my own room, I don't share. My wall color is already nice and I want to keep it the same color. It is a turquoiseish aquaish. It's really nice and pretty. My bed is a full-size and I have a really pretty quilt on it. The quilt has blue, green, white,, and pink. It's kind of floral, with some hawaiian flowers on it. I have no headboard so what kind of headboard should I have? My vanity is cool and it has a silk blue scarf oer it. And a mirror is hanging over it. The mirror is really big so it opens up all the space. My desk is very organized. It is long, with two long shelves over it. But the lighting needs help. Lightling ideas? I'm going to hang a bulletin board onto the wall space next to the desk, kind of where the door/entrance is. I'm going to cover the bulletin with a pretty blue fabric. Does this sound good? Under my window is a white wicker trunk with some white cusions on it. Remodeling a teen girls bedroom? Color ideas!? When my sister goes to college this summer, I'm moving into her bigger bedroom. My mom wants to mostly do the decorating, but I definitely have some input. She wants to keep it neutral. I'm fine with that. We want like cream or vanilla walls with brown and tan and white furnishings. The furniture I'm gonna have is a small desk for my laptop and homework and stuff, a dresser, a white night table, possibly a vanity, if not another dresser, a flat screen on the wall, and a bed. Help decorating 2 year old girl bedroom? I just moved my 2 year old daughter into her own bedroom. Well I need decorating ideas. I want to do something that will make her feel warm and comfortable but something that fits her personality. As of right now, she LOVES playing with baby dolls, and dressing up.
